Josie spent the first nine years of her corporate career teaching negotiation strategies where she supported people in becoming advocates for themselves, for that promotion, for that project, or for the hiring of more personnel. Leaving corporate life, she graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology to further hone her instincts in helping others participate fully in their lives. Josie provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples with specialized trainings in Adlerian Therapy and other evidence-based interventions. As a therapist, she has gained a deep respect and fondness for serving couples working through communication, past infidelity, and other relational concerns. Additionally, she provides premarital counseling and offers a faith-based foundation to counseling at request.

Meet Josie. With her infectious spirit and vast breadth of experience, Josie brings with her a knowledge base that we are excited to share with our clients first hand.

She takes her work with clients seriously & brings a profound commitment to working with couples. Her specialities include conflict, infidelity, & premarital counseling.

Josie’s enthusiasm for therapy and genuine care for her clients is paired with a profound commitment to the development of those who walk through her door. Undeterred by challenges, her work is done with integrity to the therapeutic relationship and with positive regard for all persons. Knowing the brain is a powerful place, she expertly supports clients through what is holding themselves and their relationships back from living fully. She maintains professional standards and continues to attend ongoing trainings, seek specializations, and pursue education in the latest evidence-based therapy interventions.

Josie is a southern gal with a distrust of grits and a love for dirtbiking. She married her highschool crush and together they undertrain for races, swap jokes, burn their enchiladas and serve teens at church camps.
