“No one understands what I’m going through.” If you’ve ever said or felt this, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to stay in that place.
Many of my clients come to me after trying therapy that didn’t quite reach the heart of their pain. I specialize in working with individuals navigating complex trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), emotional dysregulation, and attachment wounds—experiences that can often make relationships, identity, and daily life feel like a battle.
I’m Amna, a licensed clinician who brings not only years of training, but deep compassion and clinical insight to every session. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. My approach is personalized, grounded in trauma-informed care, and attuned to how trauma and emotional sensitivity impact the brain, the nervous system, and your sense of self.
My clients often tell me that therapy with me feels different. That for the first time, they feel truly seen, not pathologized or “managed,” but deeply understood and supported. I work to create a space that is safe, emotionally present, and empowering, so you can not only cope, but heal, transform, and thrive.
If you feel like your emotions are “too much,” or if you’ve been misunderstood or misdiagnosed in the past, you’re exactly the kind of client I work best with.
You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s uncover the patterns, rewrite the story, and build a life that feels like yours again.
Amna brings her diverse background to assisting children, adolescents, and adults overcome life's challenges. She trained specifically in Trauma Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Ideals
Amna’s ideals center on empowering individuals and communities through innovation, inclusivity, and integrity. She believes in fostering meaningful connections, championing diversity, and driving positive change by embracing creativity and collaboration. Guided by a commitment to authenticity, Amna prioritizes actions that align with her values, inspire growth, and leave a lasting impact on the world around her.

Amna is multilingual and speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and English. She has a background in working with the South Asian Community. There is a shortage of therapists in the South Asian community and many shy away from therapy because of cultural differences. Amna fills in those gaps, understands the culture, and creates unique treatment plans that work with the values of the these communities. In her free time, Amna loves taking walks with her husband and catching up on their days. She is aware of the importance of prioritizing time to connect with self, others, and nature and loves to support her clients to do the same. She has a personal practice that she not only teaches, but lives by.
