As a wife and mom of two teenagers, Karalee is particularly equipped to work with couples, families, and adults. When we get caught in cycles of conflict that leave us more disconnected, that hurts. It is a privilege to help families find joy again. Couples who want to close the painful gap that separates them? Frankly, it’s Karalee's passion. And adults trapped in anxiety and depression? You don’t have to struggle alone. Wherever you are spiritually, personally, or relationally, let Karalee help you.
Born into a broken home to teen parents, Karalee grew up trying to make sense of her story. Her childhood journey created a natural empathy and sensitivity that caused strangers and loved ones to feel safe sharing their stories with her. As a result, she developed a heart for listening and a presence that people find comforting, enabling them to express themselves honestly and openly. As she grew and matured, so did her natural skillset and her desire to refine her skills through education, which led her to the counseling field. Karalee combines her own natural gifts of empathy and healthy communication with a solid professional career as a therapist and a dedication to growth and education to give her clients the tools they need to be their healthiest selves.
Meet Karalee! Her style of therapy can be direct but softened with humor and lightheartedness when you need it most. Clients tell her this makes her approachable and relatable.
Counseling is a second career path for Karalee. She courageously left a previous career path to work with adults, couples, and families navigating life struggles because of her firm belief that people often have inner resources that can help them on their journey – they just haven’t discovered them yet. Are you feeling disconnected in your marriage? Karalee deeply understands that. Are you stuck in family conflict? She gets that too. Let her personal and professional experiences bring new hope to yours. She is currently in the licensing process under the supervision and direction of Beth Leonard and Deanna Davis. Her style of therapy can be direct but softened with humor and lightheartedness when you need it most. Clients tell her this makes her approachable and relatable.
Ideals
Karalee practices counseling with a faith-based approach, allowing each client to determine the level of spiritual integration in their sessions. She supports clients in choosing how much they wish to incorporate faith into their personal growth and healing, without imposing specific spiritual beliefs. For those who choose Christian counseling, Karalee uses biblical principles to help individuals, couples, and families address life’s challenges. Her mission is to reflect Christ’s love, compassion, and honesty while supporting clients in their relationship with God. She values both psychological research and the timeless wisdom of scripture in guiding the healing process.
Faith-Based Values
Karalee loves the outdoors and can be found outside with her husband and two teenagers often. From just simply sitting on her porch, trail riding, running, or being present in a body of water, Karalee thrives in nature. She also enjoys reading a good book or cooking a meal for loved ones.
