"My genesis as an actor stemmed from a deep interest in the human condition. This, coupled with a profound disappointment with some of my less-than-stellar therapists prompted me to get my Master's Degree in Counseling. There’s got to be room for more efficiency, transparency, and results in the therapy space And I’m here to do my part to ensure that happens. "

Adam’s journey to therapy began in the world of acting, where he earned his BFA in Drama. He spent over 15 years honing his ability to connect with people, express vulnerability, and understand complex emotions. He later transitioned to clinical counseling, earning his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Adam has worked for several years as a primary counselor at a substance abuse treatment center, where he supported individuals and families navigating the challenges of addiction and recovery.

Adam is passionate about working with individuals struggling with anxiety, life transitions, and substance abuse. He also works with couples who are struggling to communicate with one another, helping them improve their connections and address relational challenges. He also focuses on premarital counseling, guiding couples in building a strong foundation for a healthy, lasting partnership. Adam is committed to creating a nonjudgmental, inclusive space for all clients to foster meaningful, supportive relationships.
For Adam, the heart of therapy is creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely comfortable. Without trust and rapport, nothing therapeutic is going to happen—so he makes it a priority to build that connection from the start. Adam believes that everyone deserves a space where they can be themselves, free of judgment, and feel supported no matter where they’re at in their journey. His approach is all about making therapy feel like a collaboration, where clients can open up, grow, and move forward at their own pace.
Being Jewish informs Adam's work as a psychotherapist by deepening his empathy and understanding of diverse cultural perspectives. This aligns with his person-centered approach, allowing him to connect with clients authentically and provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care.
