Laura holds a master's degree in clinical and health psychology and has dedicated her 12-year career to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges, rebuild trust, and enhance their emotional well-being. 

  • MS in Clinical and Health Psychology from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia)

  • BA in Psychology from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia)

  • Trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for individuals and couples

  • Training in Gottman Method

  • Trained in Acceptance Commutment Therapy (ACT) 

  • Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Currently in licensing process under supervision with a seasoned clinician

Laura specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. She also works with individuals facing life transitions, stress management, and self-esteem challenges. Her experience includes working with diverse populations, and she is committed to providing culturally sensitive care.

In her therapeutic approach Laura combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and evidence-based techniques. She creates a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Her goal is to empower clients to develop coping strategies, enhance self-awareness, and achieve their personal and relationship goals. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, Laura works collaboratively with partners to foster understanding and emotional connection.

Outside of therapy, Laura enjoys outdoor activities with her family, physical activity, meditation and reading. She believes in the importance of self-care and strives to incorporate these practices into her own life, which informs her work with clients.
