Experience

Prior to beginning her training in Marriage and Family Therapy, Carolina built a successful 18-year career in the television industry, working at the highest levels of production. Her work required her to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, high-pressure environments, and collaborative relationships. The culmination of those experiences have shaped her nuanced understanding of communication, stress, and human behavior.

Originally from Miami, Carolina was raised by Cuban immigrants in a household where family and culture played a central role in daily life. As a first-generation American, she brings cultural awareness and sensitivity to her work, particularly when supporting clients navigating identity, family expectations, and bicultural experiences.

As the eldest of four siblings, Carolina developed an early awareness of relational roles, responsibility, and family dynamics, which informs her systemic approach. Her personal experiences in relationships have also deepened her understanding of how differences in communication styles, life stages, and upbringing can impact connection, conflict, and long-term partnership.

In addition to her professional and personal background, Carolina has spent time in the equestrian world, where she developed a strong appreciation for nonverbal communication, emotional regulation, and the importance of being present.

Carolina's combined professional experience, cultural background, and relational insight allow her to support individuals and couples in developing greater clarity, connection, and intention in their lives and relationships.

Carolina believes that the quality of our relationships, both with others and with ourselves, shapes the quality of our lives. Her approach is rooted in curiosity and a deep respect for each client’s unique story.

She creates a grounded, supportive space where clients can gain clarity, explore patterns, and better understand the emotions shaping their relationships.

Hands in the Soil

Carolina was raised in the Catholic tradition and now identifies as a non-denominational Christian, with a faith that has been shaped and deepened through both personal experience and her years working in the television industry. She values the role that spirituality can play in healing, while also recognizing the complexity and individuality of each person’s journey.

Her approach to faith in therapy is client-led. Carolina welcomes conversations around spirituality for those who wish to incorporate it into their work, while also creating space for clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, or uncertainties. Her personal experiences have led her to explore a range of theological perspectives, allowing her to approach these conversations with curiosity and respect. Carolina seeks to meet each client where they are.

Faith  Based Values

Carolina is originally from Miami, Florida and moved to Georgia, where she built a meaningful relationship and became part of a blended family. She comes from a close-knit Cuban family and is the oldest of four siblings with a 14-year age gap between her and the youngest sibling.

Outside of her clinical and production work, Carolina enjoys spending time with friends, riding horses, traveling around the world, and creating strong connections with the people closest to her.
