Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker and somatic psychotherapist whose approach draws on more than 25 years of experience in movement, mindfulness, and mind-body wellness.
She integrates somatic processing, EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, and DBT to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
In her work with couples, she incorporates the Gottman Method to help partners navigate conflict, strengthen communication, and deepen emotional connection. She enjoys working with blended families who need help navigating the challenges they are facing.

Rachel is also an educator, the founder of SomaPWR®, and the author of Shame Free: A Somatic Workbook for Healing.
Rachel believes therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and able to be yourself. She approaches each client with curiosity, recognizing that patterns that once helped you cope may now be getting in the way.

Her work helps clients notice those patterns, respond with greater choice, and practice new ways of relating to themselves and others. Together, you’ll set meaningful goals and work toward changes that carry into everyday life.
Rachel’s Jewish identity informs her appreciation for community, connection, and the diverse experiences that shape each person’s life. She welcomes clients of all faiths and backgrounds, creating space to explore spirituality and cultural identity when they are meaningful to you.
Faith-Based Values
Outside of her clinical work, Rachel enjoys movement, travel, and spending time with her husband and their blended family of five children—her two children and three stepchildren. Her interest in the connection between emotional and physical well-being continues to shape both her life and her work.
