Meet Taylor

Taylor Dye
Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m an Associate Professional Counselor (APC), soon-to-be Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I grew up in a small town in South Georgia, where I learned the importance of community, genuine connection, and showing up for others. Those values continue to shape the way I approach both life and counseling today. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University before completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through a CACREP-accredited program.

I’ve always been fascinated by people’s stories—how our experiences, relationships, and challenges shape who we become. That curiosity, paired with a genuine desire to help others, ultimately led me to pursue a career in counseling. Healthy relationships have always been one of my greatest passions because I believe the quality of our relationships often shapes the quality of our lives. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, and become the healthiest, most authentic versions of themselves.

I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and empowered enough to create meaningful change.

Relationships are one of life’s greatest gifts, but they can also be one of its greatest challenges. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, feeling disconnected, struggling with communication, rebuilding trust, navigating conflict, or simply wanting to strengthen your relationship, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

As a Certified Gottman Level 1 and Certified Prepare/Enrich Premarital and Couples Counselor trained therapist, I help couples identify unhealthy patterns, improve communication, deepen emotional intimacy, and develop practical skills that strengthen their relationship long after therapy ends. My hope is to help couples move from simply getting through life together to building a relationship where both partners feel deeply known, valued, and connected.

I also enjoy working with teens, young adults, women, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, communication difficulties, and premarital concerns. My hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools to create lasting change.

Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, easy to talk to, and someone who creates a space where they feel safe and never judged. While I strive to provide compassion and empathy, I also believe meaningful growth requires honesty and gentle challenge. I’ll celebrate your victories, help you recognize unhelpful patterns, and encourage you as you move toward the life and relationships you want.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to come alongside you with curiosity, support, and evidence-based tools that help you better understand yourself and create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about empowering you to build the life and relationships you desire.

Because every client is unique, I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is informed by Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prepare/Enrich, and Gottman Method principles. Together, we’ll build practical skills for emotional regulation, healthier communication, stronger relationships, increased confidence, and greater resilience.

I truly believe people are far more resilient than they often realize, and it is an incredible privilege to help clients discover their strengths, heal from difficult experiences, and create lives that feel more connected, purposeful, and fulfilling.

Personal
When I’m not in the counseling office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, Jake, making memories with my family and best friends, or enjoying quality time with my sisters and nephew. I love traveling, exploring new places, trying local restaurants, and cooking new recipes.

I’m passionate about living a healthy, balanced lifestyle and believe our mental, emotional, physical, and relational well-being are deeply connected. Whether I’m working out, hiking, spending time outdoors, fishing, archery, or simply enjoying nature, I love activities that help me stay present and connected to the people I love. I also enjoy all things fashion, beauty, and wellness and appreciate the little things that make everyday life meaningful.

At the heart of it all, I value intentional relationships, meaningful conversations, and creating lasting memories with the people I love. I believe the strongest relationships are built through connection, honest communication, grace, and plenty of laughter, and those same values guide the work I do with every individual, couple, and family I have the privilege of serving.
As a Christian, my faith is an important part of who I am and influences the compassion, hope, and grace I strive to bring into the counseling room. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and beliefs. For clients who desire Christian counseling, I’m happy to thoughtfully integrate faith into our work together. If faith isn’t something you’d like incorporated, that’s completely okay—our work together will always reflect your goals, values, and preferences.
