Meet Anna

Anna LeRoy

Anna received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certification in Child & Adolescent Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Georgia Tech with a minor in Leadership Studies. 


She is passionate about working with all parts of a family dynamic, seeing individual adults, couples, and children! Anna enjoys partnering with couples to build on the strengths they already have and explore creating more helpful communication patterns according to their values.  Regarding working with children, Anna partners with parents to help them better understand and support their child’s emotional world. Anna considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients—children, teens, and adults—as they move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Experience

Before entering the counseling profession, Anna spent five years in the corporate world, where she gained valuable experience in analytical work, project management, and consultation services.Anna specializes in play therapy and is actively working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Her clinical experience includes working in grant-funded programs, facilitating group play therapy, and providing individual counseling to adults. She has supported clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relational challenges. 

 Anna believes meaningful growth starts by recognizing and building on the strengths clients already possess. Anna works in close partnership with clients, valuing collaboration and shared goals throughout the therapeutic process. By actively developing skills together, she helps clients move beyond current barriers and expand what’s already working. The focus is on empowerment, progress, and creating sustainable change that reaches further than clients may have thought possible.

Hands in the Soil

While her therapeutic foundation is person-centered, Anna integrates techniques from various modalities to meet each client’s unique needs and goals, and she is happy to provide faith-based Christian counseling to those who desire it.

Faith-Based Values

Outside of her professional life, Anna is a wife and mom to a baby girl. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Anna's hobbies include reading, working out, baking, and spending time outdoors!
